Dimensions and safe distances

Dimensions and safe distances

Foundation of the device should be done paying attention to the length of the connecting pipe, which defines the distances between the stove and flue draught. Safe distances should be kept at the stove's assembly with regard to fire safety. For side walls the safe distance is 60 cm, for front wall 150 cm from any objects and inflammable materials.

The rear wall of the stove should be thermally insulated with an insulation of λ20 = 0,038 W/mK and of 5 cm thickness with an additional safety distance of 5 cm for an air gap. This applies to foundations made of brick, wood and frame. For frame and wood foundations the insulation is absolutely required. For brick foundations the insulation prevents wall overheating and quicker stove chilling through heat removal.

All parameters of the insulation can be extended depending on particular conditions present in a given room as well as according to the needs of a client. The stove's parameters are illustrated on the rating plate attached to the operation and maintenance manual. Insulation can be made of any soft and solid materials used in construction industry and classified as non-combustible materials of the above thermal conduction values.

All technical and detailed laboratory test results and parameters remain in possession of the producer and can be provided for private purposes at user's or architect's request in a form of a photocopy.
